For these reasons, I would not recommend use of this toy by anyone under the age of 8 without adult supervision.When powering up your sub, always turn the transmitter on first!Make sure that you have the rubber drain plug in before use! If you don't, water will leak into your sub and damage the electronicsThis sub is rated to operate in bodies of water up to the depth of 1 meter (appr. 1 yard) and in freshwater ONLY. I am not responsible if your submarine becomes damaged because you operate it outside the depth parameters or in a saltwater environment.
